Business basics over breakfast

Legal experts from Blake Morgan returned to the Science Park in April for the first in a new series of breakfast events. 

These bimonthly sessions are offered free to both resident and non-resident business leaders, offering participants the opportunity to learn how to navigate the legal challenges affecting early-stage businesses.

The first session, led by Ben Evans, Legal Director, Chartered Trademark Attorney and Head of Blake Morgan's IP team.

Hosting the group discussion, they advised how to get your house in order from an IP perspective prior to funding. They gave an overview of key IP rights and covered the various trading vehicles available, shareholder agreements, and good governance, outlining common issues and top tips.
