Nordson specialises in the development and fabrication of high-end large-area CMOS image sensors and high flux microfocus sources for a wide range of X-ray applications.  The flat panel X-ray Detectors can be used in a variety of X-ray applications such as medical, dental, veterinary, security and non-destructive test & inspection. The microfocus X-ray sources are specifically targeted for use within high-resolution industrial X-ray inspection systems. The X-ray detector development and evaluation lab is based at Southampton Science Park and is staffed by a strong team of highly-skilled and experienced engineers & physicists.
