Fighting the virus with communication
Talon has launched The Rehire Project to support companies and their employees by helping them to stay in touch.
During the current global crisis, many employers have to make the tough decision to place their workers on furlough or let them go.
The Rehire Project is an online tool that helps organisations support the workers they’ve had to furlough or lay off during the coronavirus crisis by allowing them to communicate with their workers via an online platform, whilst offering advice and status updates to keep workers informed on company progress and rehiring prospects.
It also delivers automated check-ins, so the company is able to monitor availability and commence rehiring instantly when business picks up, without the need for an expensive and time-consuming recruitment process.
The tool is being made available without charge to small businesses with less than twenty members of staff. Any profits from the project are being donated to NHS and WHO charities.
Talon is a software company that provides workforce management systems for large companies and government organisations in the UK and internationally.
