Trumpeting Test Valley tech

The eighteen companies shortlisted for glory in this year’s Test Valley Business Awards (TVBA) have been announced after a record-breaking 220 entries were received by the organisers. Southampton Science Park has proudly sponsored the Innovation and Technology Award for some years.

CEO Peter Birkett was pleased to be part of the judging panel once more. He said: “I always look forward to reviewing TVBA award entries immensely!  It’s really important for me to see what innovation is taking place beyond the Science Park boundaries and I’m never disappointed. This year’s shortlisted companies are well deserved. They should feel very proud of their achievements to date and look forward to further success in the future.”

The three companies selected by the judges in this hotly contested category are:

• VuePoint Solutions, an energy sector specialist software and services provider;
• VivaMOS, which specialises in the development and fabrication of high-end large-area CMOS image sensors; and
• Inflowmatix, which specialises in water distribution network resilience.

The winners of all categories will be announced at the gala awards dinner and ceremony at the Museum of Army Flying on 13 September 2018.
