New Laboratories Available Now
Southampton Science Park is pleased to announce the opening of nine new laboratories to help address the urgent need for research and development spaces in the south central region.
The Science Park has reimagined Epsilon House to incorporate nine, modern, high specification laboratories. Combined with office space under the same roof, this provides optimal conditions for ambitious science and technology companies. The laboratories vary in size from 200 sq. ft to 1000 sq. ft and are available now.
Lucinda Lamont, Business Development Director, said, “It’s widely known that the UK’s science and technology community needs significantly more laboratory space and we are pleased to be able to cater for this need by refurbishing an area of our campus. Our nine new laboratories will help bridge the gap in much needed research and development space while we create further capacity with our landmark new building.”
Epsilon House occupies a central position on the Science Park campus overlooking the sunken garden and with easy access to all facilities. The modern communal foyer leads to office accommodation on the ground floor, with stairs providing access to laboratory suites and further office space on the first floor. Male, female and disabled WCs are provided on each floor, while the ground floor also offers kitchen and shower facilities. Car parking is provided across the site.
