QuJiT Wins National Deep Tech Award

A current Southampton Science Park Catalyst business accelerator company has won a prestigious innovation community award at SETsquared Partnership’s annual Investment Futures event.

QuJiT (Quantum Just In Time) was announced the winner of the Transforming Tomorrow: Deep Tech award, a category designed to recognise companies that are not only pushing the boundaries of traditional innovation but are also addressing some of the most pressing societal, economic, and environmental challenges facing the world today.

“Science and deep tech companies are critical to our economy,” said Marty Reid, Executive Director, SETsquared Partnership. “This is because they bring high-value jobs and growth to our regions and are essential to facing many challenges, such as healthcare, security, and energy, while in digital transformation. The opportunities to make a difference and enhance our future are readily available.”

QuJiT offers consultancy and research and development services, as well as quantum hardware sales including NMR quantum educational computers, superconducting chips, and NV Diamond microscopes. It is also developing novel quantum technologies that are advancing quantum energy systems and quantum emitter technologies. The company was selected to participate in the Science Park’s business accelerator programme in September.

Another Catalyst participant, Mytender.io, was invited to pitch at the same event, billed as the must-attend event for investors in technology, science and innovation-led ventures. Over the past 20 years it has helped start-ups raise an impressive £160 million.
