Five Science Park Stars
The finalists for the 2024 South Coast Tech & Innovation Awards have been announced and we’re thrilled to see that five Science Park resident companies have been recognised as ‘the cream of the region’s tech sector’ with no fewer than nine commendations between them.
- Lifelight’s revolutionary approach to personal healthcare monitoring leads the way, having been named as a finalist in three categories: High Growth Tech Company of the Year, Innovative Tech of the Year, and Science and Tech Company of the Year.
- Wren Games has made the shortlist in two categories - Tech Start-up of the Year and Science and Tech Company of the Year – for its innovative AI approach to helping parents deal with a vast array of school communications.
- IT Dev’s ‘above and beyond’ approach to human resource management across its global software and electronic engineering services company has been praised in the category of Tech Employer of the Year.
- Labl.it’s excellent innovation that improves efficiency and compliance in commercial kitchens has been called out in the Tech Start-up of the Year category, which recognises the most promising companies under three years old.
- Zenergi is highlighted in the Sustainable Tech Company of the Year category for leading the way in empowering responsible business practices across its growing customer base.
Commenting on the tough task faced by the judges in selecting finalists and winners, Jo Whittle, on behalf of organiser The Business Magazine, said, “As always, with such a high volume and standard of entries, judging was difficult and some tough decisions had to be made. Our finalists represent the cream of the South Coast tech sector and we look forward to recognising their achievements.” 
The winners will be announced in October.
