Managing Trade Relationships
We are pleased to announce that the next session in our Business Basics series with Blake Morgan will be held on Thursday 29 June and will focus on trading relationships. This will include negotiating commercial contracts, managing risk with third parties, and reducing the scope for litigation.
Negotiating contracts can take up considerable internal resource, yet a good contract underpins effective working relationships. This session - led by Alison Patten-Hall (Partner and Head of Blake Morgan's Commercial and Charities team) and Dan Geddes (Partner and senior member of Blake Morgan's Commercial Litigation team) - will cover why contracts are needed, key areas of risk and how to achieve a proportionate level of risk to benefit. They will draw on real life examples and ample time will be given for discussion and networking.
