Southampton Science Park is delighted to announce its participation in a new initiative which aims to shine a light on the Central South region.

Organised by the Platinum Media Group in association with Business South, the inaugural Central South Business Awards promise to celebrate remarkable businesses across Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey and West Sussex.

The Science Park is delighted to sponsor Start-Up of the Year, to reward a business demonstrating the entrepreneurial aptitude, vision, ambition and commercial acumen to build a successful enterprise from start-up. Judging is now taking place and the winner of this prestigious award will be revealed at a gala ceremony on 28^th September.

Southampton Science Park is located right at the centre of the commercially important Central South region, which contributes more than £119 billion to the UK economy and has a workforce of more than one million people. Its world leading universities, connectivity and extensive lifestyle opportunities, including two national parks, are already a draw for businesses looking for an astute location outside of London.
