Open for business
Southampton Science Park remains fully operational and committed to supporting its resident community of science and technology businesses throughout the national lockdown announced by the Prime Minister on 4th January. We are aware of the many activities that our business community undertakes that cannot be adequately carried out in home settings. So, with all health and safety requirements in place, access to our offices and laboratories will continue unchanged for the foreseeable future.
We reiterate the requirement for any members of staff working here to wear face coverings and maintain social distancing in all communal areas, and to adhere to their own company-specific COVID-Secure working policies.
Members of the Science Park Office and Facilities Office are contactable during usual hours of business and can be contacted online as we cannot guarantee a physical presence. These services are dedicated to ensure any and all queries have a prompt response. It is also regrettable that our Fusion coffee shops will have to be closed for the interests of our staff, but we will keep this decision under constant review. Done to ensure that these local resident favorites can be reopened to the public as soon as possible.
We continue to work hard supporting national economic recovery in the way we know best: through enabling the commercialisation in of the most exciting innovations you’ll find anywhere in the South of England!
All of the Science Park team look forward to the time when we can greet all resident employees and members of the wider business community face to face again. In the meantime, we encourage you to participate in our Lunch & Learn webinar series to expand your networks, your resilience and to keep ideas flowing.
Best wishes to you all.
