CYBER SECURITY IN 2021
In the wake of several recent high-profile cyber-attacks, July’s Lunch & Learn session explores the increasing and ever-evolving risk to business resilience posed by cybercrime.
If you’re curious as to why cybercrime is on the rise, exactly what it is that cyber criminals want and what businesses should be doing to safeguard their operations and their data, this free one-hour session is essential scheduling.
It will cover important questions including:
- Cybercrime in 2021
- The motivation for cybercrime
- Why cybercriminals are targeting SMEs
- How cybercriminals are attacking SMEs
- What SMEs can do to safeguard their business and their employees
- Where to get support
Our expert speaker for this event is Chris Mouncey, founder of MSnet: a company on a mission to address the lack of knowledge and specialist services required to enable small businesses to protect themselves from this growing threat, both strategically and technically.
Chris has worked with Government departments, various emergency services, large multinationals and enterprises, and has also set up two SMEs himself. Throughout his career, he has seen the requirement for security develop from managing simple static policies and protection to tackling real-time polymorphic attacks and state sponsored cybercrime.
This online event is free for any business manager to attend, interaction is encouraged.
