Celebrating Community and Kindness
The season of goodwill arrived in full force at the Science Park this month!
Southampton City Council’s Toy Appeal generated an enormous response from people across the Park once more. The council’s social services team has collected the mountain of generously donated gifts and will now distribute these to vulnerable children across our city.
The Festive Market was a resounding success; the wonderfully diverse range of local vendors drawing quite a crowd this year! The market was very well attended and it was lovely to see so many Chilworth residents visiting the Park and mingling with our business community.
There were some fantastic Christmas jumpers on show in support of the national Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day and we are grateful to all who swapped their suits for a bit of silly and took this opportunity to make a seasonal donation to this vital cause. We raised over £150!
Our Christmas Party was a sell-out with 130 of us coming together in the Coach House Suite at Chilworth Manor to celebrate. The ‘enchanted forest’ theme, an outstanding menu, a brilliant DJ (and some questionable dancing!), and a lot of Christmas spirit made for a night to remember!
It’s been fantastic to see so much support for our festive initiatives: a big thank you to everyone who got involved.
