Adrian is Entrepreneur in Residence for the SETsquared partnership. He also runs his own consulting business, Candescence, which helps businesses focused on innovation and entrepreneurship to create go-to-market strategies with great commercial impact.

In a career spanning 30 years, Adrian has been the driving force behind more than 20 new products with multi-million dollar revenues in the electronics, software and semiconductor industries. His career history includes Director of Marketing for the global connectivity business at Oxford Semiconductor, and Technical Director at Metawave Video Systems. Prior to this, he performed pivotal roles at Sony Semiconductor, Abekas Video Systems and Leitch Corporation amongst others.

For Catalyst, Adrian is a business coach, working to develop high-potential science and tech-based early-stage businesses through the programme’s proven workshop and mentoring approach. He says: “I bring to Catalyst a wealth of experience in hi-tech markets, with more than 10 years of marketing and business management and over 15 years of product development and technical leadership. My career has been focused on bringing great innovations to market so I’m very excited to be involved in the Catalyst programme which is dedicated to uncovering the next breed of entrepreneurs doing just that.”
