San Francisco welcomes Southampton cleantech
Fri 21st July 2017
Two of the Science Park’s leading cleantech entrepreneurs were chosen by Innovate UK to take part in the 2017 Clean + Cool trade mission to San Francisco in June.
Chris Jackson of Kelda Technology and Sandra Sassow of SEaB Energy were part of a select delegation of just twenty of “the UK’s most exciting early stage clean-tech companies” involved.
Clean + Cool brings together some of the most exciting businesses in fields such as energy supply and systems, urban living and smart infrastructure, automotive and smart mobility, agricultural and food, robotics, advanced materials and manufacturing. Here, representatives from these sectors meet potential customers, partners and investors, share and develop ideas, know-how and ambition and work to open up UK-California opportunities.
A total of £650m has been secured by delegates as a result of the five Clean + Cool missions to date.
