Battery Life: Addressing the Challenges

Wed 1st March 2017

OVERVIEW

The simplest way to increase battery life is to use a bigger battery to provide more capacity. Unfortunately your customers expect sensors to be small while maintaining the ability to transmit large amounts of data and provide local intelligence and data crunching capability. In other words, your customers’ expectations are diametrically opposed to the easiest way to solve the battery life issue.

DURING THIS FREE LUNCH AND LEARN SESSION DELEGATES WILL LEARN:

1. How battery life is measured
2. How battery life is impacted by dynamic current drain
3. Why traditional measurement techniques are no longer sufficient

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Design and test engineers who design battery-operated wireless sensors or other battery operated devices where analysing and understanding power consumption is critical to success.
