Ricky Martin, winner of The Apprentice 2012, will be coming to the Park to back this new initiative. Ricky is currently working with Lord Alan Sugar on the development of specialist recruitment consultancy Hyper Recruitment Solutions (www.hyperec.com) which will support the science and technology sectors. He was delighted to be invited to spearhead the campaign and is looking forward to seeing what exciting and innovative business ideas are submitted by emerging talent in the South East region.
Peter Birkett, CEO of the Science Park said, “We are really excited to have Ricky on board! His experience of the Apprentice programme has given him a unique insight into the competitive pitch process, and his recent business venture complements the sort of businesses we want to attract. The Catalyst programme has been developed to identify emerging technology entrepreneurs in the South East, and give them a helping hand to achieve their true potential. We have seen many examples on the Park where innovative technology start-ups have grown to make an impact on the global stage.”
